The Hillsborough Township Health Department is dedicated to protecting and improving the health, safety, and well-being of residents in Hillsborough Township and Millstone Borough. Through a combination of public health programs, environmental health services, education, and community outreach, the department works to promote healthy lifestyles, prevent disease and injury, and safeguard the community’s quality of life.

Guided by New Jersey’s Public Health Practice Standards, the Health Department provides essential services including health promotion and education, disease prevention and control, environmental and health inspections, regulatory enforcement, and collaboration with local organizations and community partners.
